Summer is almost here and that means its time to put hands on activities in gear and stimulate your preschooler’s senses. You know what I am talking about- bring on the preschool sensory activities! From taking walks on the lawn so that they can feel the grass between their toes to having water fights and writing messages with chalk. 1. PLAYDOUGH BUTTERFLY LIFE CYCLE

This activity is a guaranteed hit. Your preschooler will learn about the butterfly life cycle and do so with playdough. This is sensory play and sensory learning at its best. Allow your preschooler to learn about the different stages and model them with playdough.

2. Create A Sensory Bin

Allow your preschooler to learn about the differences between Venus and Neptune.

 

5. All About Books

Introduce your preschooler to the concepts of a book. Help them to learn what an illustration is, what and where the spine of a book is as well as other concepts. Top it off by using playdough mats to solidify those concepts.

 

6 – 7 Frozen Sensory Bin and Build the Castle of Arendelle
