Have you ever has one of those days where everything seems too calm? You think you have done everything on your mental list but you still have this weird feeling in the pit of your stomach? I used to have that feeling ALL THE TIME!
5 WAYS I KEEP MY DAY ON TRACK
1. I plan out all my meals for the week. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I even have a day dedicated to planning my meals for the week. For snacks, I created a master snack list so I can simply ask J what she wants.
2. All meals are the same time everyday. This helps me to get an idea of when to start preparing for meal time. I tend to get caught up in whatever task I am doing so I normally schedule meal times with my ATracker Pro app from Wonderapps to remind me that it is meal time.
3. Use A Tracker Pro App. It’s one thing to buy an app because you know you need it and quite another to actually use the app. This app is so awesome and easy to use. I can customize the schedules to fit my life. I added 5 major tabs in my app: BLOG, KIDS, CHURCH, HOME, and ME. BLOG time is scheduled from 5am – 8am so I simply add that time slot to my app. Sadly, I have developed a love-hate relationship with the timer because I hate being told my time is up. If you would like to see this app in action, simply click here.
5. I choose my clothes the night before. I intentionally choose clothes that I can simply throw on my winter boots and coat and step outside. My ‘uniform’ is typically a pair of jeans, a tunic or shirt along with a sweater.
These 5 things have saved me from future embarrassment and chaos. How do you keep your day on track? Let me know in the comments below. If these tips have helped, then be sure to check out Learning 2 Walk’s Facebook page where I share more organizational resources.

I should really choose my clothes the night before. That would definitely help me get out the door in the morning!

This looks like a great app! I have a hard time planning meals (was doing great for a while and finally getting back into it) but often forget what time it is which throws me off. This would be a great help! Especially Sundays as we are so busy with church and choir practice!
Cassie @ 3Dinosaurs.com says
I have my meals at the same time each day. It really does help.
Lauren @ Mom Home Guide says
I need to start planning out my family’s meals for the week! For some reason, I can only seem to plan out two nights at a time, so I am always going to the supermarket!

Meal planning is HUGE. When I do it, I feel so much more on top of things and so much less stressed. I hate scrambling at the last minute to figure out what to make.

I never knew about this app! Cool! But I like mine handwritten- I use printables from Just a Girl and Her Blog 🙂 What do you mean by the meals are always the same??
alecia says
My meals are always at the same time. Breakfast at 8:30, Lunch at 12:00, Dinner at 5:30. Keeps me sane

We have started planning our meals out on either Saturday or Sundays before we go grocery shopping. I was so tired of one of us having to run to the grocery store because we didn’t have SOMETHING that we needed in order to make dinner. LOL

As a SAHM, some of my life right now is more fluid, but having some designated times for things might help me feel less spread thin between the ten things I am doing at any given point in time. Thanks for sharing tips on how to stay organized.

This looks like a fantastic app! It looks like it is only available right now for iPhone, is that correct?

This looks like a great app for sure. Thank you for telling us about it. Maybe when I upgrade my phone I’ll be able to enjoy using it too.

I need to choose my 1st graders clothes the night before! Or actually, put out an assortment so she can choose quickly. The mornings are crazy. I have a uniform but she likes to be different. I need to check out that app because I get lost in my own world on my computer and forget to cook or exercise!
alecia says
Exercise? Whats that?
Jennifer says
I so need this, this looks like it would keep me being productive, and I… well need a schedule.
