Car Crash Preschool Letter Stamping Activity

I am convinced that the easiest way to teach or reinforce any concepts with my kids is to either allow them to watch a video or play a preschool letter activity that involves stamps. C knows his lowercase alphabet but only knows a few of them uppercase and when I correct him he gives the look.

You know that look- the ‘Mommy I am right and you are so wrong. Look’. So how could I get my headstrong son to practice his letters, I brought out the big guns and created a Car Crash Preschool Letter Stamping activity.

I am convinced that to make any preschool letter activity fun for my kids all i have to do is add stamps as well as cars. This car crash preschool letter stamping activity was able to deliver tons of fun.

PREP AND HOW TO PLAY

  • Print the car crash letter cards on cardstock.
  • Cut out the 26 cars. You can either use a pair of scissors or a stencil knife- I chose the knife.

  • Place all 26 cards in a deck and shuffle so they are not in order.
  • Allow your child to pick one card and then stamp the corresponding upper case. (see picture below: The card chosen was ‘c’ and so ‘C’ stamp was chosen.)
  • Have them do as many or as little as possible depending on their skill level.
