Welcome to all things wee. Wee Skool Wednesdays is dedicated to developing fine and gross motor skills in preschoolers. Did you know that two of the most important things that need to be taught to toddlers and preschool children when homeschooling are fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
Fine Motor deals with the small muscles working together to do achieve a result. Examples of fine motor activities are cutting and lacing. If this is not fine tuned in a preschooler, it will be very difficult for them to do the simple things. Simple things such as eating or turning the page of a book.
Gross Motor deals with the larger muscles of the body working together. Examples of gross motor activities are running and jumping.
Each post below has three activities: two fine motor and one gross motor. Thanks for walking with me!
