Finding a planner to plan all my preschool lesson plans was rough. I will find a planner that I thought was fantastic and then boom- I needed something tweaked and couldn’t do it. Or I will find another but it wasn’t colorful enough which means I would not use it ( I am just being honest- if its not cute it won’t be used). As a result I created the Weekly Editable Homeschool Planner for my planning.
WEEKLY EDITABLE HOMESCHOOL PLANNER DETAILS
It is a weekly home school planner that is created in Excel (can be edited in Google docs and Numbers as well) that allows the following:
- The subjects can be changed
- The amount of students can be increased or decreased (1 student to as many as you can add)
- The dates can be changed
- The fields can be removed (too many subject spaces? Just delete them)
- The fields can be increased as well
- Oh and its pretty easy on the eyes.
You can simply grab the planner by clicking the image below or clicking FREE EDITABLE HOMESCHOOL PLANNER.

so if I just subscribed – do I need to do anything else for the free planner? Or will you just email it to me that week?
alecia says
Ideally, I would prefer if you subscribed during the week that is stated. It is set up that once you subscribe in that period the planner will be emailed to you automatically.

I just subscribed! How awesome is this?! I can’t wait to use Plan It!! Sounds like an answer to prayer!! I didn’t get my usual planner this year. I love it (I’m a sucker for really wanting things in print) BUT I didn’t have the extra $ this year for it and I saw your Plan It and thought, wow, this would be really cool! And now, here it is….FOR FREE!!! I know 2.50 is not a hard price but you have no IDEA how wonderful it is to have this for free. *tears* :’) Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! Now, I just have to figure out if it will work with my computer…I’ll make it work one way or the other!!! 😉 Sorry for all the punctuation, capitals, etc. I’m just really thankful….and happy…and EXCITED! LOL!!!

Bethany, you are very very welcome. (Wait I need one more ‘very’ seeing that there were 3 thank yous). Sure I know $2.50 is not a lot of money but free is definitely better. I just hope Plan It! lives up to your expectations.

I love this printable. I have one question, however. I’ve figured out how to change the dates and the names of classes. The little calendar in the corner in print view still says June, when I’ve changed the dates to August on all the pages (except the template). I can’t figure out where that can be edited. Please help if you can.
Thanks again for making this free 🙂

The calendar came from http://www.publicdomainpictures.net/view-image.php?image=41286&picture=2014-calendar-july-template. However, you can search in google August 2014 calendar and choose whichever you like and plug it in. Let me know if you need anything else.

A soon-to-be new homeschooling mum here… I’m hoping this planner will help keep me on track! Thanks for the freebie!
alecia says
I hope it helps to keep you on track too. You are welcome!
Bethany says
Um..sorry to be dumb but, are you sending these out now or during the free dates? I signed up but didn’t receive yet. I saw your comment above but then I read the highlighted section and well, now I’m confused. Which doesn’t take much these days…I’m over 40 with a house full of men…what do you expect?! 🙂 Sorry if I just can’t figure it out. Oh, and two “very’s” above was sufficient but you did manage 3 after all! LOL!!!!
alecia says
Hi Bethany. The file has been sent. Terribly sorry about that. You are not slow at all.

This planner sounds like a wonderful idea for my daughter. She is not a home schooler, but wants to work hard with her son during the summer so that he does not fall behind. He just completed 2nd grade and has done well. She doesn’t want to lose what he has gained during the summer lapse of classroom studies. Do home schooler do “summer” vacation? Dumb question, I know. But questions educate us, right?
alecia says
Every family is different but we plan to continue firing the summer. Homeschooling J doesn’t take that long and it’s integrated in everything we do so no ‘vacations’ for us. It is a good question though. There is no such thing as a dumb question. Lol

You are very welcome. Enjoy.

Hello! I really like the way the planner is set up: days of week for the columns, subjects on the side, space in each box for each of my 4 kiddos, and I can see the whole week at once. It would take me forever to do myself.

I’ve been homeschooling for 2 years now, and better organization has been a major issue for me. I am seriously looking forward to utilizing your planner!! Thank you so much for putting this out here!
