Don’t you just love Christmas??? And the best is when it snows on Christmas Day. We had an early snowfall recently, and Jael is convinced that it is indeed winter and NOT fall. Because my daughter is Christmas-struck (that’s a word, right?), I decide that I should create Christmas preschool lesson plan for our week.
Christmas Preschool Math
Math this week for Jael went well. I used all the things she loved, especially dot markers. I still have no idea what her fascination is with them, but we all have things we need.
One Math activity we did consist of her dotting the numbers as I called them out.
Christmas Preschool Reading
Our favorite book for our Christmas preschool theme was Llama Llama Holiday Drama. It’s about Llama Llama and his anticipation for Christmas arriving. Unfortunately, the wait ends up being a bit too much for Llama. Caleb seemed to enjoy the funny voices I made when I dropped to the floor like Llama Llama in distress.

Christmas Preschool Writing
As I said last week, I am currently teaching J how to write her letters. One of the letters we did this week was the letter C. Jael used her Christmas worksheets that I made for her that included tracing pages and a few other writing practices. She also practiced writing on her easel and was very proud to show her father.
Quote of the Week
J randomly looked at me and said, “Jesus’ birthday is coming. He is going to be 4.”
How did preschool go for you last week? What theme did you cover? Let me know in the comments below.
I love providing my printables for free in hopes that your kiddos will love them as much as mine do. Please note that if you do download anything from my site, that you are agreeing to my terms of use and all the other legalities (privacy policy and disclosure policy) that are in place. I am all for sharing but please share the link to this post so that they can download their own copy. Do NOT share the link to the printables themselves. Thanks for walking with me!
