Ever wondered what to put in a printable home management binder? Or have you asked yourself recently what a home management binder is? Keep reading and let me explain.
What to Include in Your Printable Home Management Binder
We all want to have organized homes right? The kind where we can find everything we need as well as have a list of routines that helps us manage our homes seamlessly.
Remember the last time you got the oil in your car changed? When was the last time you bought new toothbrushes for the family?
We all want to have a home that would make our home economics teachers proud because we actually paid attention in class! The home that we aren’t ashamed of people visiting.
Today I am giving you the tools you need to get your home organized. So stop staring at Pinterest and Instagram and let’s get going. Are you ready?
What is a Home Management Binder?
I’m going to keep things simple and say that a home management binder is a hub or that one place where you keep all the information needed to run your home smoothly. Yup, that’s it.
I could go on to add that it’s a place that keeps all your routines, important documents as well as recipes that you’ve come across, and more but that would make it too long. As a matter of fact, you can put anything in there that will help YOU run your home.
Need to figure out what to clean on Mondays? Or perhaps you need to find the number for your plumber because your kitchen sink no longer drips but threatens to flood your house? This binder keeps all that info in one central spot.

Creating Your Home Binder
Fair warning we will be starting from scratch aka the very beginning with this binder, so bear with me.
Step 1: Gather your supplies
Step 2: Print the cover for your household binder. You can either use the free one I have below or whip one up on the computer.
Step 3: Print the parts of the personal information and contacts printable pack that are relevant to you
Step 4: Fill each section in with a pen or marker.
Step 5: Hole-punch your sheets and place them in the binder
A few things to consider
Try a few of the tips below to help create your personal binder.
- If you would like to keep your sheets from being damaged then slip each page into a page protector.
- Want your binder to last? Of course, you do! When looking for a binder choose one that’s sturdy and has pockets on the inside. If you don’t have a binder with pockets, you can always buy binder pockets on Amazon or any stationery store.
- Want to get creative with your home binder? Feel free to decorate your binder. Add washi tapes and throw in some calligraphy.
Look at that! You’ve started your very own printable home management binder.
Tomorrow we will work on putting together the cleaning section of our binder.
