Quick and Easy Christmas Preschool Math Worksheets

Looking for a few cute Christmas preschool math worksheets? I know that counting is one of those tricky math skills for preschoolers. They have to learn how to slow down and assign a value to each object and not simply count by rote.

I have known that my son could count but I wanted to see how well he does this. Once this is done I will then have to decide what the next step would be. To do this, I created these Christmas preschool math worksheets to help.

These Christmas preschool math free printables were such a time saver. All I had to do was print these free preschool worksheets and hand them to my preschooler for a quick number learning activity. #christmaspreschoolmath #christmaspreschoolmathfreeprintables #freeprintablespreschoolmath

I will be honest, whenever I create an activity for my son, I hope that he wants to actually do it. I always try to ensure a few things with the activities that I create for him. I try to ensure that his activity will be:

  • easy to prepare and set up
  • colorful
  • hands-on
  • include counters

First, print the worksheets on regular printing paper.
These Christmas preschool math activities were such a time saver. All i had to do was print these free preschool worksheets and hand them to my preschooler for a quick number learning activity.

Second, cut the pages in 2 along the dividing line in the middle. If you want the really quick route, forget about cutting the page. Simply slip the pages in a Wipe and Write Pocket (see above in list) or a protective worksheet.

Third, demonstrate to your child what needs to be done. Count the items and then place a counter on the correct number.

Fourth, have your child do the activity.

Helpful Preschool Math Tips

If you don’t have any counters on hand, use whatever you can find. It could be as simple as coins, pom poms. We actually used the colored pasta from our Circus Color Activity.

You can also skip the counters altogether. Simply slip the worksheets in a protective sheet and allow your child to use a dry erase marker to identify the correct number.
