I think the human brain is absolutely amazing and I especially love seeing my daughter observing print all around her. I love hearing that little voice reading her CVC words and sight words. I love hearing her explain whatever crazy idea she has in her head. Today I will be sharing with you our sight word worksheets for the letter I. Let’s walk.
Sight Word ‘I’: Find the Word
This activity continues to be a big hit for my daughter and so I will continue to use this in her worksheets. I am not sure if it simply the fact that she loves searching the grids to find the words or if its because she loves to stamp so hard with her dot markers that they bleed onto the table.
OTHER ‘I’ SIGHT WORD ACTIVITIES
There are also a few other activities included in this kit.
Do a Dot: This continues to be a big hit with my daughter and I still have to print each sheet 5 times. Maybe its time for an erasable dot marker??
Stamping: We haven’t been using our stamping set often (maybe 3 times since we bought it last year) and so I figured this was the perfect way to justify the purchase.
Say, Build, Stamp: This sheet can be used as a review sheet at the end. Your preschooler will say the word, build it with either playdough or magnetic letters and then stamp the word. Pretty simple.
