Spring Flower Garden

My daughter has taken an interest in flowers and Spring and to be honest I can’t blame her. We have had snow since last October and as I write, it is snowing. Today I will be sharing one of J’s spring preschool sensory activities that she created on her own. Let’s walk.

Spring is nowhere to be seen but that didn't stop us from doing a few Spring preschool sensory activities. Today we created a Spring preschool sensory bin as one of our preschool sensory activities.

So now that you know why we have chosen this theme let’s get to the good stuff- how to recreate J’s Spring garden that she now keeps on her little secretary’s desk in her room.

What You Need for our Spring Preschool Sensory Activities

Spring is nowhere to be seen but that didn't stop us from doing a few Spring preschool sensory activities. Today we created a Spring preschool sensory bin as one of our preschool sensory activities.

1) Open the container with the glitter stones and give it to your preschooler to pour into the small container.

2) Once they have poured the base (glitter stones) it is time to get started on the flowers. To work on their fine motor skills, ask them to remove the white paper covering the sticker.

3) Glue the foam flowers to one end of the stick.

4) Place the flowers in your garden (the container with the stones) to stand upright.

5) Ask you preschooler where they would like to put it.

Spring may not be here (and to be honest we may have another 2 months before we see our lawn) but that has not stopped us from learning and having fun at the same time. 3 cheers for wishful thinking! Thanks for walking with me.

PS- This could be good for a Mother’s Day gift that your child can make. I t can also be a part of a flower unit as well.
