Yes, we are still waiting on Spring and yet it continues to avoid us. That, however, has not stopped us from doing our Spring preschool activities. I am still continuing to help my daughter work on her fine motor skills so that she can in turn work on her pencil grasp.
In order to achieve this, I created a set of spring fine motor preschool activities lacing cards.
Spring Fine Motor- Lacing Cards
These lacing cards were a hit with my daughter. I had no idea how hard it would be for her to grasp that she should put the lace in all the holes and not skip a few.
After several tries and realizing that you cannot lace one hole on the left and then go immediately to the right of the flower, she decided to try it my way. She then beamed with pride and stated that she did it all by herself. My daughter is a headstrong one (and I am one proud mama for that).
