I remember when we bought our house, my mother-in-law told us to save money for home improvements. I thought she was being ridiculous- why would I want to to improve the hose we just bought? Little did I know, she was right and no I have zero intentions of telling her that.

So why is home maintenance important? The quick and simple answer is that houses, once you live in them, start to show it. Paint gets chipped, strange markings show up on your wall, and sadly, dryers stop working when you have a load of wet towels in them. True story- my dryer broke recently and it took me a few hours to realize that I didn’t hear the buzz that tells me the dryer was done. I opened the dryer and EVERYTHING WAS WET!! So please take home maintenance seriously.

Now that we know its important, let’s start putting our home maintenance binder together with these free home maintenance printables.

Vehicle Maintenance Printable (and Home Maintenance)

I am not sure our car would be running right now if car dealerships never put that little sticker on your windshield. You know the one I’m talking about, right? The sticker shows two things:

  1. last car service date
  2. upcoming car service date or mileage

It’s the other parts of car maintenance that are a blur to me. What services should be done during the year besides what the sticker said? Luckily I have created a page to help you track that. Its found below by clicking the orange download button.
